Full-service packing and unpacking for Boca Raton homes — country-club estates, Mizner-area townhomes and oceanfront condos on A1A. Every box, every roll of tape and every sheet of paper is in the quote before we start.
No obligation — we’ll reach out quickly
Hall’s Local Movers has packed Boca Raton homes since 1987, and the thing that separates a Boca pack from one in most of the county is how much of the work happens before anyone touches a box. Guard-gated communities want the crew on an access list. Country-club HOAs restrict which days and hours a moving truck may be inside. Oceanfront buildings on South Ocean Boulevard want a certificate of insurance on file and a service elevator reserved. We sort all of that first, so the packing days run to a plan instead of a phone chain.
The packing itself is done by our own employees — never a subcontracted crew — with dish barrels, wardrobe boxes, mirror cartons and enough paper to do it properly. Kitchens, glassware, artwork and closets are the four areas that eat the most time and cause the most breakage, so they get our most experienced hands. Everything is labelled by room and by contents, and the inventory travels with the truck.
Boca homes tend to be large, and the honest advice is that a full pack usually takes a day or two ahead of the move rather than the morning of. We will tell you which one yours is when we quote it, and the quote already includes every material we bring.
The price we quote for packing includes all materials — no add-ons for boxes, tape or paper at the end of the job.
Four things we settle before the packing crew is booked. They decide the date more often than your calendar does.
Boca West, Woodfield, Broken Sound, Royal Palm and Boca Pointe mostly restrict moving activity to weekday business hours and want the association told in advance. A packing crew inside the gate counts as moving activity in several of them. We ask which community you are in on the first call and plan the pack days around the HOA’s rules, not around a guess.
Buildings along South Ocean Boulevard and around Mizner Park generally require a reserved service elevator, a padded elevator cab and a certificate of insurance naming the building before boxes move through the lobby. We file the COI and book the elevator with management; the packing days are timed so the loaded cartons go straight down on the reserved slot.
The typical Boca Raton estate kitchen has more glassware and serving pieces than a whole apartment elsewhere, and walk-in closets run to dozens of wardrobe boxes. We staff those two rooms first and heaviest, because they are where a pack overruns if it is going to.
A garage or lanai in Boca is not a storage room. Packed cartons left there soften and sag within a day, and anything with a finish can bloom in the humidity. We stage packed boxes inside, in air-conditioned rooms, and pack fine finishes in breathable wrap rather than plastic.
The same four steps on every job. The only thing that changes is how many days step three takes.
Everything included in our packing & unpacking serviceIf yours isn’t listed we still cover it. Boca Raton is a straight run down I-95 from our yard in West Palm Beach, and there is no travel charge for it.
Three things move the number more than anything else: how many rooms are being packed, how much of the contents is fragile or high-value, and whether we are also unpacking at the other end. A four-bedroom home with a full kitchen and two walk-in closets is a different job from a two-bedroom condo, and we quote it as one.
Access matters less than people expect, because we have already handled it. A Boca West gate list or an A1A service elevator changes the timing of the day, not the price of it. What does change the price is a home that is only partly ready: if the decluttering is still happening while we pack, the pack takes longer.
Whatever the number is, it is the number. Materials are included, there are no fuel surcharges or stair fees, and the price quoted is the price you pay when the last box is on the shelf.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience with Hall Local Movers! They helped move me from Florida to Virginia, and the entire process went smoothly. The movers were professional, careful with my belongings, and made a long-distance move feel much less stressful. Everything arrived safely, and I really appreciated their hard work and communication throughout the move. I highly recommend Hall Local Movers to anyone looking for a reliable and professional moving company!Posted on Google![]()

These guys are the best. First time I ever used them I had another company lined up that cancelled on me day of move and Halls wasted no time coming same day to move my entire apartment. They will always get my business! 😊Posted on Google![]()

WOW! I have moved 13 times in 9 years, my experiences have not been stellar! I hired Hall’s to move a huge piece of furniture that needed to be picked up. It was extremely last minute (marketplace) and the original company I hired cancelled 3 days in a row! When the piece arrived, I definitely did not account the size vs the front door or any other entry. IT WOULD NOT FIT! These guys spent a lot of extra time literally MAKING it work! AND, it was sweltering out! When I say they did not give up, got it done with lots of trials, and smiled the whole way! I highly recommend for ANY JOB! Father and son and company, above and beyond is an understatement!! *****Posted on Google![]()
